Pastor Brad Williams, M.A. in Counseling, offers Biblically-based counseling for individuals and couples, as well as premarital counseling. For more information, contact the church at (989) 275-5055 or email@example.com.
Small Group Bible Studies
We offer weekly men’s and women’s Bible studies as we believe that is how we grow in Christ. We also have various studies and home groups throughout the year.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”(Acts 1:8).
God has commanded us to be involved in local, regional, and world missions. Our church is passionate about fulfilling this call. As a result, we are actively involved in missions at the local, regional, national, and international level. We currently support missions on four different continents. If you would like more information on the missionaries and ministries that we support, please contact us.
Emergency Food Pantry
Because God has asked us to feed the hungry, our church serves the community with a emergency Food Pantry each Wednesday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. We serve about 100 people per month with bags of groceries. Many stores, churches, and individuals help support this emergency Food Pantry also.
We have Children’s Sunday School which is held from September to May from 11:00-12:00 during church service, at which time nursery is also provided. In addition, we have held some retreats for teenagers. See Ecumenical Work with Area Churches for more information about Youth.
Ecumenical Work with Other Churches
We believe Christ’s Church is the whole believing body of Christians, not just separate church buildings or denominations. Therefore, we value cooperation among Christian churches. Pastor Brad helped establish the first Ecumenical Marriage Retreat in February 2020, along with Roscommon Baptist Church and with the Beacon Assembly of God. These churches are working to establish a Community Youth Service Group and looking for other churches to join in the effort. First Congregational Church also sponsors a Women’s Valentine Tea each February inviting women from all area churches to participate. Finally, we work with a variety of area churches and organizations to bring Food Trucks to Roscommon several times per year.
Activities Within the Community
Our church wants to be supportive of the community in which we live. Thus, we participate in community events or festivals throughout the year. We set up a mitten and scarf tree in December for community Christmas baskets.
